Hi Sharon,

One branch of my Porter family went to the same area of Missouri you refer to. There may have been other Porters in the area but those related to me were a very large family, lots of boys in each generation.

Do you have any idea what Mary Frances (Spencer) Porter's husband's name may have been?

I have a lot of information on the Webb City Porters thanks to my distant cousin Judy (Porter) Hopkins who was part of that Porter line. If you could get me the name of her husband I can at least check the info I have on my Webb City/Joplin area kin for you. Many of those Porters and their descendants still live in the area.

I have no Spencers listed in my tree but I do have more info that I have not yet put into the tree. In some instances I have the given name Mary with no maiden name because I didn't have that information.

Donnie
