Trying to find ANY info on the parents of Walter Levi Seidel b: 1872, Stanton co., Nebraska. Names could be Henry and Salonia (sp?)(Drebert) Seidel. Names of siblings?
Walter married Jennie Grace Viersen 1897 in Pilger. Family notes say that Walter had several sisters, possibly one named May who married Roy Queen of Omaha. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have a Henry Seidel who married a Salome Drebert. Salome Drebert's parents are John Drebert and Salome Hartung. They where in Butler Co., PA (Zelienople) then moved on to Nebraska. I have brothers and sisters to Salome Drebert and some Hartung info.

My GGGrandparents were Johannes Hartung and M. Salome Schramm and they had a daughter Salome, born 05/19/1834, Nr.Zelienople, Beaver, Pennsylvania. I know the family went to Bassett, Rock, Nebraska.Could this possibly be the same person? I'm looking for information on the parents of Johannes Hartung and also M. Salome Schramm. If you have any info I would apprieciate it.

I would be interested in the information on John and Salome Drebert, they would be great grandparents. I think I am missing some kids of theirs and I only show four boys and one girl. I show John and Salome Drebert's children as Daniel J., Frank A., John, Mary, Salome, Henry Albin (b. 9/27/1863), and George Edward Drebert (b. 10/4/1864).

Was the mother Salome Hartung Drebert, born May 15, 1833 in Beaver Co., Penn? and died March 5, 1913 in Piece, Neb? If so, I have her obit, and it lists marriage to John Drebert in 1851. "Seven children were born to this union, John, Dan, Henry, Geroge, Frank, Mrs. Mary Norman, and Mrs. Siloma Sidell, all living. She is also survived by six brothers and one sister." After their marriage, John and Salome moved to Benton Co, Iowa and then West Point. Here Mr. Drebert died 20 years ago (1893ish). 13 years ago Mrs. Drebert married Fred Webert, who passed away last year. They came to Pierce nine years ago." She's buried in Pierce, Neb by her second husband, Fred Webert.
Fred Webert is one of my lines I'm researching. Fred Webert's 1st wife was Caroline/Carolina Drebert. She was married to a Briggle in Benton Co., Iowa They had one child, William that survived. He died and Caroline married Fred Webert and they had five children. They came to Sioux County, Iowa. Carolina is buried in the Ireton Cemetery. Carolina died March 6, 1895. Is she related to John Drebert? How?

I found John, Salome and children in 1860 Butler Co., PA with the last name "Trebert". It lists children as Philip 18, Caroline 15, William 12, Salome 8, John 5 and Mary A. 3. So it looks like John is Caroline's father and Salome is her step mother.

John Hartung (1807 - 1887) parents were Jacob Hartung and Barbara Euler. Margaretha Salome Schramm (1813 - 1863) parents were Johann Christian Schramm and Anna Eva Stiller.
