I'm also the descendent of a Frederick (Friederick)Buchholz who lived in Milwaukee, WI. I wonder if all these Frederick's are related farther up the line? Anyway, Frederick Buchholz was my great-grandfather. He died in Milwaukee in 1910. I don't know exactly when he came here. His wife was Louisa Schultz (Schulz?). They were married in 1882 and had three daughters, Olga, Clara and Hilda (my paternal grandmother). They also had a son who died as a child/infant, named Harry.

Since my G Grandfather JOHANN BUCHHOLZ born in 1840 in Obergunderdorff (which never existed) was supposedly one of 11 orphans raised by relatives in Germany and came to the U.S in the 1880's I gather in anything related to the BUCHHOLZ Surname. I currently have two Buchholz Family histories, which unfortunately don't have indexes. I would be happy to exchange any data I have and will be more than happy to add your information to my data base. Contact at (kimbuc@juno.com)

Dear Kim:

We are of relation of the Robert Buchholz family and we just found a new family member by the names of Marietta Lambrecht and Robert buchholz. They are of the Peter lambrecht family. Ours is of the Martin Lambrecht family, brother of Peter. We also have the Johann Lambrecht and the Maria Lambrecht families and are very enthusiestic about our findings. Can you tell us if you are of our relation. Enclosed is a picture of our Aschenbach/Lambrecht families.
Sincerely yours,
Soerfass-Aschenbach families
I believe that Marietta wrote that a Wilhelmine Lambrecht married a Robert Buchholz who later married his widowed sister-in-law Margaretha Hahn Lambrecht.
