I keep a genealogy database on every bit of BUFFO information I come across. Most are from the Prascorsano area in the Torino province in Northern Italy.

I would like to share information with you. Please contact me at jverett@webzone.net. Who are your immigrating BUFFO relatives?

Hello, I am searching for families with the surname of Buffo. My Grandfather, Giacomo Ena Buffo was the only son of Bartolomao and Angela Ena Buffo, who imigrated to the US (Gardner, Mass.) in the early 1900's from Nulle, Sardina, Italy. There has been rumors that my great-grandfather had another family prior to marrying Angela Ena. The name Buffo is not a common Italian name, possibly we may be related.

My surname is Buffo. I am first generation. My father was Giovanni D. Buffo, first born son of Giacomo Ena Buffo. My father and grandfather were born in Nulle, Sardina, Italy. They imigrated to the Gardner, Mass and later moved to Hopewell, Virginia. My greatgrandfather was Bartolomao Buffo who also imigrated to Gardner, Mass. I am the third of six living siblings. I am interested in locating other families with the surname of Buffo. It is a very unusual Italian name and I am hoping to find more info on its origins.

I live in Idaho and I found information that when Families came to America through Ellis Island, a lot of the names were changed slightly to reflect more of the american names. Buffo was changed to Buffi, Buff, Buffin, Buffy, Buffie thes were just some of the changes. You might try some of these.
