My parents have been doing lots of work on geneology of the Bystroms. My Grandfather was Leonard Bystrom from St. Croix Falls, WI. They have a huge database with names, dates and everything. If anyone is interested, let me know and I might be able to help.

Hi Michele,
I don't have much on your mothers side but I do on your fathers side. His parents were Palmer and Anna Amundson. Anna's mother was the sister of my great-grandmother. So you and I would be third cousins as far as I know.

I would be interested in obtaining more information on the bystroms. My grandfather was Merle Bystrom who died young. His daughter was my mother who died young. I dont have much information other than his dad was Fredolf Bystrom and he married Sadie Bystrom. Who was Sadie Napier. If you have any information on that branch I would appreicate it.

Thanks Michele

Kelsey,

I saw your posting regarding Sider Alex Bystrom.

My sister married a Bystrom and I have heard the name Sider mentioned (wife named Myrtle) - they lived in Minnesota.

Is this consistent with your information - if so, could you give me any more information?

Thank you.

I am trying to find out any information about my Grandfather's (Stanislaw Josef Bystrom) family. He was born in 1912 in Stargard or Gstaad in Poland and was moved to Scotland whilst in the war. I believe there is a Swedish background also.

Many Thanks

Rachel
