Samual Townsend Coulter

R.Bickings  (View posts) Posted: 23 May 1999 6:15PM GMT
The Coulter name in our family starts with William W. Coulter Who was born in Philly. PA. His mothers name was Mary Townsend she was from England. When she came over she was preg. with my grandfather, Samual Townsend Coulter who was born in Conshohocken Pa. When she came over her last name may have been fish or something similar to that. He married Susie Ann Bossard who was born in Lansdale Pa. After Susie Ann died he remarried Julia Keeley in 1946. Anyone with any information on the family ties would be appreciated greatly.Other Family names connected to Coulter are Wickert, Duncan, Bossard, Baumgard, and possible Lawler. Thanks for the help.

I have most of the family line and would like to know just where do you fit in? My great grandfather was a son of Jacob and Mary. Christopher Columbus married Rachel Hall and my grandmother was Kittie Bossard.
I have some information on George and Rebecca given to me by Keith Bossard Parker. Do you know Keith? He is a descendant from George also. Why don't you email me direct and we can compare notes?

Hi Berk,
I am also searching for information on the Bossards of Western PA. I see you've been chatting with Dorothy. She helped me too. You both mentioned George and Jacob. My line is from their younger brother, Samuel. He was born in 1803 and married Sarah Flaugh. Dorothy provided me with their father's name, Henry, and his father's name, Henrich. I was told their was a Solomon Bossard in the picture, but don't see where he may fit in. Do you have anything on him?
