Hello, For everyone that reads this board that is looking into this line. There is so very little information found on any site concerning our family. I would like to see us working toward changing this for those in our family just starting their research. I am planning to donate as much information as I can to Dawn Quast's "Eby Family" site. What I really wish we all could do is get together like a family reunion, but just those of us interested in genealogy. To share food, fun, & information. What do ya'll think? I look forward to replies. Thanks, Marlon

My father was Walter Jones Ebey. I think his father was Wiley Bunyon Ebey and mother was Bertha Jewell Jordan Ebey, who lived near Patterson, MS. My mother and father divorced when I was two and I never had much interaction with my father's side of the family after that time. Can you give me any information?

Hello there! Wiley Bunion Ebey was William Major Ebey, Sr.'s son. William was my GG Uncle Willie, his brother was my Great Grandfather Robert Absolom Ebey. Uncle Willie's family has been highly researched by Jim Partin, a closer cousin to you than me. His Great Grandfather was William Major Ebey, Sr. He may have some helpful insight that I don't have. You may happen upon a message board entry of his on this or on the "Eby" message board. Happy Hunting! Cuz, Marlon

The Ebey that I am researching appears to be a dead end (at this point). I have only found them as far as Oklahoma. I have seen Dawn's website and have had no luck. See my previous post. Marlon, have you gotten much response about a "reunion"? Claudia
