I think that I fall in that line somewhere down the line. Not exactly sure where though. My grandparents were Samuel Elijah Kaneaster and Lottie Kaneaster. My dad is Charles Manford Kaneaster.

I spoke with my parents tonight and asked them about this. From what I understand there were three brothers that came over from Germany. They went their seperate ways one in TN, one in MO and I'm not sure about the other. Samuel Kaneaster, my grandfather was the son of Alexander Kaneaster. Samuel was born August 12,1902 he died in 1997. I have just started researching all of this. I think Kaneaster is a very unusual name so there must be a tie somewhere don't you think?

WELL GOOD!!!!! The only thing I have on Alexander Kaneaster is born 1837 Sevier Co, Tennessee.... Moved to Missouri in 1871.
Married Nov 29, 1857 GA to Labelia (WARD).
I only show one son listed for them and that is George Kaneaster b: Feb 22, 1870 married Sep 30, 1897 Missouri to Nellie (Snapp). I have 5 children listed for them but understand they had 7. Do you think this Alexander & George to be your LINE?....."DU"

Yes,yes, yes! We have always gone to the Kaneaster-Snapp family reunion on my grandfathers birthday every year. There is a SNapp cemetery in Branson, Mo. They are part of my line for sure. I looked through the familyhistory.com page and asked my dad about Alexander Kaneaster. he said that was his grandfather but it didn't list my granddad as one of his kids. Interesting enough it seems that there are several Alexander Kaneasters and few George's. My nephew was named Alexander Kaneaster and my dads brother is named George.

I also have Douglas Co, Colorado as a death place instead of Douglas, Arizona and Alamosa, Colorado for his place of marriage to Mary............."DU"
