Hi Carl,
I recently found out that I have some Llewelyns from your part of the world in my family tree. My g-g-g-g-grandfather's name was William Llewelyn of Methyr Tydfil, Glamorgan, Wales. He was born about 1798 and married a woman named Margaret, although I don't know her last name. She was born about 1802. They had a daughter, Tabitha, who was born about 1820 and married John Prosser. He was born about 1817. They had a son, William, born about 1844, who married Mary Griffiths, born 3/10/1850. She was from George Town, the rest from Methyr Tydfil. Do any of these names sound familiar. I'd live to know more about the family and they place they came from. Thanks much. Debbi

Hi
I have recently become interested in getting information about my family tree My grandparents were both born in Aberdare wales. My grandfather was Edward Llewellyn marries to Sarah Reese (sp) THEY HAD ONE SON NAMED Edward John born in wales. Two other sons were born in the united States, Albert Roy born 1902 and Charles Theodore born approximately 3 or 4 years later Both of the younger sons were born in Iowa but in 1918 moved to Saskatchewan Canada and then all except my grandfather Albert moved to Vancouver where they all died. Edward had 2 brothers and some sisters. One brother moved from Aberdare to Glenwood Springs Co and had a large family, one of his sons was named Reese Llewellyn. Another brother Of Edward was John He remIned in wales and never married. I thin one of Edward's sisters was married to a JOnes. Albert had 2 daughters, Violet Joy Llewellyn Fiala and Louise Llewellyn bagley( me) . I live in Kansas City Mo. I am working on the Prosser line in the US
and I have them coming from England to Massachussetts in the early 1700's. Then they moved enmass to Kalamazoo Michigan There is a great book called 'Bachelder's of Alamo' which gives a lot of history of this family plus pedegree charts. I can only get the Prosser family back to Eng. Contact me if you can help. Thanks. Spattsy.AOL.com
