Was his parents Stanley Wojciechowski & Paulina Wasilewska of the West Pullman area of Chicago (12423 S. Eggleston Ave)? My Great-Grandmother Julia was his sister.

I just found the family on the 1940 Census in West Pullman. William is living with his wife and 2 sons in his mother's house in West Pullman/Chicago.
