Does anyone know where I would find the names of workers from the Erie Canal 1820s?

I don't have information specific to the Erie, but I have found the names of 33 canal male canal workers and female relatives, including a Lynch, on the Windsor Locks Canal on the Connecticut River. Construction was from 1827 to 1829. It is likely that many of these laborers worked on the Erie Canal prior. Let me know if this helps.

I realize this post is very old but do you have an Edmund Burke on your canal worker's list. Thank you.
