Sara - Yes! I believe that your Ggrandfather, Jacob Reimer's parents were Aron Katherine (Trodel) Reimer. They came from Russia, via Hamburg, Germany, on the SS Harmonia in June of 1876 arriving in New York City. Your GGgrandparents, Aron Katherine, traveled to America with Aron's brother, Jacob Johann his family. Jacob Johann also had a son named Jacob, born approximately the same year as your Ggrandfather, he is my Ggrandfather. Please email me at forestreea@hotmail.com as I have more information I'd love to share with you.

I have a number of Jacob Reimers in my family tree but no "Abraham". My Jacob was actually Johann Jacob Reimer and his brother, Aron Reimer, who came to America in 1876 from Rosenberg, Russia via Hamburg, Germany. They were Germans who migrated to and from Russia during their lives as both have children born in both Germany and Russia. I'm not sure if this is of help to you. Sheila
