"I dont know I could be wrong. That's all I've heard. All I know is that I was told that my family is from Western Samoa and those Villages."
Well then, you have _not_ heard wrong. As there could have been a Leone of Savaii at one time or long ago, I've just never heard of a Leone but on Tutuila before or after Tutuila became American Samoa in APR 1900. But I will be seeing my authority on village names of the Samoa Islands later today: my Grandmother. Unless the kind researchers of the Islands help/assist us before then, that would be great.
While looking up your aiga/Family names, particularly MARQUARDT, there is data re:
b.1844 Falealili, , Samoa, Pacific Islands
m.1897 Honolulu, Honolulu, Hawaii
d.1941 Vaipapa,Leone, , Samoa, Pacific Islands
b.Falealili is a village on the isle of Upolu, Samoa.
m.(Only you can confirm/verify if this data is accurate.)
d.Vaipapa is a village on the isle of Savaii, Samoa;Leone is a village on the isle of Tutuila, American Samoa;could be totally erroneous but I will investigate.
/Sopoaga Moefa'auo--this is a connection, right? Do you know if 'Sopoaga' is spelled right? The given name concerns me for when checking w/o the surname 'Sopoaga' does not show at all, but when with the surname--MOEFAAUO--'Sopoaga' does show up.
/Do you know the history behind the surname UO? Seems the full name was dropped: MOEFA'AUO. I'll ask my Grand what she knows re Samoan name dropping.
