Would appreciate assistance with Obit lookup for my gggrandfather. Death certificate lists him as "tavern keeper" in Oconto City, Oconto Co. Wisconsin. Died at age 38 on March 26, 1890. He was born November 3, 1852 in Canada. Wife Elinore Calore/Lenore Pollard. Children Joseph, Lenore, William, Redna (my ggrandmother), Henry, Walter.

It seems an early death for a non-logger, hoping it was memorable enough to be published.

I believe that this is a picture of Walter and Henry LaPointe. Walter would be my Greatgrandfather. Their father was Henry and Lenore (Calore).

No obit yet, as far as I know it hasn't been found yet if it's in the Oconto paper (But I'll check the newspaper list I have) but here's the record from the wicemeteries.com website. I wouldn't be surprised if one isn't found though.
