My G.G.Grandmother Clara Gaug/Gaugg was born 22 January 1805 in Dachberg #9 im Lavanttal. She was the daughter of Michael Gaugg and Clara Mayr. Would like to contact anyone researching these family lines. The Gaug/Gaugg families may also have resided in St. Ulrich, Eitweg, St. Stefan, St. Andrä or Maria Rojach im Lavanttal

My great-grandmother was Catherine Gaug and she married John Robert Koschel. She came over to the US from Austria-Hungary as a child around 1906. Her parents were Peter Gaug and Margaret Kurtshalts and I know that she had about 7 siblings. She was born in 1896.

I have no idea if our Gaug's are connected since you are so much further back in time - but it would be nice to find out more about the Gaug's!

Hello,
I am researching family connection also. My mother's name was Margarette Stuppal-Mayr. Her father was Michael Karl Stuppal-Mayr, who was adopted. I have a great deal of documents and photographs so I will look up your request also. My mother was part of Mayr-Melnhof background, is that also with you??
Regards
Peter

Hi,
I'm also a Gaug doing genealogy on my family. Sorted stuck as my GG grandfather came to the US in 1906. He was born in 1860 in Hungary. Maybe your GG grandmother had a brother and my GG grandfather is one of his children.
If you can help me, send me an email
Thanks, Bettu

Hi,
Sorry I didn't back to you any sooner. My email is wtbetty1@comcast.net.
Your GGgrandmother was my Aunt. I have a pretty good list on her brothers and sisters and their children. Also her parents names.
Send me an email.
Thanks, Betty

Betty
I only have one listing for a brother for Clara/Klara Gaugg. His name was Joseph Gaugg, b. 17 March 1798 in Dachberg Nr. 8, and d. 17 February 1876 in Dachberg Nr. 8, Maria Rojach parish. He was married to a Maria, last name unkown, on 16 May 1820 in Dachbert Nr. 9, Maria Rojach parish.

My email address has changed since the earlier posting.

Hello, my name is andrew gaug jr I'm starting a family tree on my grandparents, John & Elizabeth Gaug who lived in the chambersburg section of trenton,nj back in the 1900 to 1965 time frame. I'm finding out that my grandfather, if this is the correct person i'm looking at on ancestry.com , was born in 1890 in hungruary. My aunt told me he had a store on S.clinton avre in trenton, nj . I have seen this on the 1940 census report. Is there any other gaug's that might be related to my grandpaprents that live in trenton, nj between 1900 & 1965 ??? any guidence would be appreciated ...
