Tina,
I will check on some things for you when the genealogy library opens on Tuesday. We should be able to find him in 1900 census and possibly some city directories. Let you know what I find.

Cecilia.
Anders was born the 15 of april in 1875. He went to Amerika in 1898. He was there for ten years.
Then he returned back home and got married to Gunhild Erika Nilsson. Anders never returned to USA.
I would like to know if he got any children while he was there, if i have any relatives in USA.
My own adress is geir.svendsen@mail.op.se
Many thanks Tina.

Tina,
Anders could not be found on the 1900 Idaho census nor in any Boise city directories. What proof do you have he was here?

I seem to recall that there was a rather famous artist from Idaho named Moller. Sorry, can't remember his first name, but I'll see what I can find out.

I'm looking for an Axel John Moeller, who painted murals on buildings in the Intermountain West in the 1970s. The information I have says he was born in Bridgeport, Iowa in 1925, and in the late 90s, was living somewhere in Wisconsin.

i have no idea if youre still looking for Axel, but i came accross this while trying to do a lil research on him as well so that i can try and have the newstribune write an article about this amazing man. he is currently in Tacoma, Washington. he came into my work and saw this poorly out of tune piano weve had for a few months, and out of the goodness of his heart, decided to tune it and fix it for free, otherwise it wouldve cost us $300 an hour to have it tuned!! he sings and plays these quirky old songs that put a huge smile on my customers faces as well as mine. he is still painting murals and in fact is currently working on a piece on my friend and coworkers garage door. this man astounds me. i have no words to describe how thankful i am for him. he taught me how to tune a piano and we talked for hours! anyways, if youre still looking to get in touch with him, let me know and ill give him a message for you! :) ~sheri~

Hi Sheri: How kind of you to write! I wrote about Axel for a graduate school paper a couple years ago, but not a month goes by that I don't see his handiwork or think of him. I'm happy to know that he's still painting and would love to meet and talk with him. This is the closest I've come to "finding" him in years, and I know others in the area would love to know what he's doing now. I worked at newspapers long ago as a reporter and photographer and still freelance stories to papers in northern Utah. I don't know when I could get to Tacoma, but if you could get a message to him that I'd like to talk to him (or write or email---I have no idea how old he is), I'd truly appreciate it. If it's something he'd like to do, I'll find a way to get to Tacoma. Thanks so much. Diane
