I think that Juan De Dios is the same gneology line as colonel Francisco Perea of Bernalillo all the way back to El Paso late 1600s.
good luck

Does your query fit any of this information for Bernalillo:
My line goes back to Francisco Garcia Perea, abt 1679, El Rio Abajo, m. to Maria Romero. I descend from Demetro Estevan Perea, son of Baltizar de los Reyes Perea and Petra Chavez (Duran y Chavez line).

You also list <Arellano>. My grandmother's half-brother was Luis Abram Arellano, m. to Juana Bacca (Baca). (He used the name Cameron.) I have met his descendants who are my second-cousins.

My descendents are the same as your Perea line. We only got as far back as Estevan Perea. Do you have further info on the family tree?

Do you have the info that links these two? I would appreciate it so much as I end at Juan de Dios. b. abt 1823 d. 28 Jun 1902 Cerritos, Colorado. Is this the same Juan that you have? I would love to link to Bernalillo as so many similar names are found in that city but I haven't found a link yet.

Our Perea families are from the Rio Grande area; Albuequerque, Tome, Torreon and Mansano area. I believe they came to the Rio Grande area about 1600 with the Onate reconquest expedition. You can dowload thier lineage from HGRS-NM.org.com. Our Jose Maria Perea was born in Tome in 1808. His father was Juan Lorenso Perea born 1779. His father was Pedro Acencio Perea. His father was Jose Eugenio Perea. Then their is Francisco Perea. married 1707 in Albuquerque. Francisco is supposibly the son/grandson of Estevan De Perea. I am sure our family tree orginates from the same lineage. Let me know if they are. I have some records of our families that you might want to look at. Take care for now.

Our lineage is the same as yours. Do you have any further info on Estevan De Perea? He is supposibly from the El Paso De Norte/or did he come with the Onate reconquest group along with the other family members ? Any info would be greatly appreciated. Ancestry.com know has records available of the Spainards that first came to America in the 1600 century! my home is 909 993 5931.

I am sure our lines connect in some way. However, my Jose Maria Perea's father is Juan de Dios Perea with Delubina Espinosa as his mother. They were living in Southern Colorado. Yes, I do find links to the Onate reconquest group through 3 of my ancestors. I recently returned from a trip to Israel, there was a region called Perea in the Eastern area. The name Perea is on the sephardic Jewish names list. Many spaniards in Southern Spain were sephardic jews. It is an interesting line to persue. My Martin line goes back to Spain to Jerez de la Frontera. When the holidays are over, I will try to send you some of the info I have on the Perea's. My Esteban Perea was in the 1882's so perhaps named after the earlier ancestor you speak of. I will keep in touch.
