Mark T. Evans

Mark T. Evans, 36, went to be with is eternal father on Jan. 23, 2000, after a long illness.
Mark was a life resident of Akron, Ohio. Mark loved the Lord and was a devoted Bible scholar, dedicating hours to biblical research and education. He dedicated his life advocating and enlightening individuals on the presence of blacks in the Bible, through the issuance of literature to those who would accept throughout the world.
Mark leaves, to mourn, daughter, Brionna Evans; parents, Sadie and Jimmie (Moose) Shepherd; siblings, Carlos Evans, Linda Evans, T. Darnell (Shonda) Evans, all of Akron; grandmother, Sarah Shepherd; stepsiblings, Doris Fisher, Teresa Shepherd, Dorothy (Kenny) Foster, Caroline Seward, Emanual Shepherd, all of Akron; devoted cousins, Ronnie Anderson; favorite cousin, Shewane Wilborn; special nephew, Darius Evans; special friend, Tonya Dillion; very devoted friend, Troy Williamson; a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. The family would like to give a special thanks to Rev. Kenneth Paramore, Joyce Rucker, the United Baptist Church Family, the Cleveland Clinic (Palliative Center), Hospice of Summa, Dr. Gary Wilkes, and Bob Hanson.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday at the Stewart Calhoun Funeral Chapel, Rev. Kenneth Paramore officiating. Interment at Lakewood Cemetery. Friends may call at the chapel from 12 noon to 1 p.m. Procession will form and condolences may be sent to 605 Glendora Ave. (Stewart Calhoun, 535-1543.)
