Can anyone tell me if there might be a record of railway employees? In particular, I am searching for a Francis (Frank) York(e) who was Stationmaster at Fethard, Tipperary, in the early 1900's. Francis was born in County Clare and grew up in Limerick before moving to Tipperary. So far, I have not had any success in trying to trace him.
I would appreciate any help I can get.
Christina

Your best bet is to contact IRRS archives,, Heuston station. Dublin
Archivist rev dr Norman gamble
The address you give would put your stationmaster relative as employed by Great Southern Railway - so you have a good deal on info
