Starner Family

My father, David William Starner, Sr. passed away on January 5, 2001. I was just browsing to see his name online because I miss him so. He ahd given my brothers and I a family tree that he had researched through memory. I will find it and post it. My family probably has alot of relatives close by that we aren't aware of as my parents weren't great at family visiting, writing, keeping in touch, etc. We have met and adore a cousin of my Dad's by marriage, however, Barbara Glaeser-Barefoot Bay, Fla. Anyway, I will get the info out to all Starners. I'll begin with my Dad's birth in Boone, Iowa Oct.17,1921. Married to Dorothy Alice Kearns on Jan. 5,1946. Children: Lowell Wetzell Starner(adopted by my Dad @ 3 years old. His father and whom my Mother married prior to him leaving for Germany in World War II, Lowell Wetzell was shot down and killed over Germany. My Dad was his fraternity brother at Kent State. My Mom,Dad and"Buzz" as he was called all knew each other!) David,Jr., Lawrence, and me, Kathryn. Talk to you all of you soon.

Jayne,
Thanks for the reply! Hopefully we can help. I have sent the message to my brother who knows alot more than I do. I have info here at my home and need to look it up. Our Dad just passed away jan. 5th, 2001 and that stirred me in the direction of looking for more family connections. When I come across the paperwork that our Dad made of our family history, I'll post it.
