You can write to the following address to obtain your non-id information from your adoption record. Include as much information as possible in your letter and include your signature, address, telephone number and email address.
I think it might be a good idea to first call the following number and ask what you need to include with your letter in order to obtain your non-id information.
Obtaining Non-Identifying Information:
ADOPTED ADULTS, adoptive parents, birth parents,
or extended family members of an adopted adult or birth parents may obtain non-identifying information.

I would advise calling to ask if they will do searches for your birth in 1970, also ask how much it would cost in case this information is incorrect, and what is the address to mail it to.
Or,they may also take your request over the telephone if you pay with a credit card.
Ask them what information will be included in this birth search.
The bureau also does searches for births at $10.00 per 5-year search.
Be sure to include a S.A.S.E with your request!
