There is a Lloyd E. Childress found at familysearch.org, with children born in Hennepin County, Minnesota in the 1940's. You can search that yourself and see what you think. Lloyd Edward Childress, wife Daisy White, as parents.
One of the sons, Robert Lloyd Childress, became a dentist.
Google "Lloyd Childress" and add the word Minnesota
There is a marriage for a Lloyd E. Childress in Minnesota, but doesn't sound quite like your person.
CHILDRESS, LLOYD E
BURCK, HELEN C
He would have to be older than born in 1920.
Here is a Lloyd Childress in 1940 on the census, living in Kanabec county, MInnesota. He is living as lodger in the home of the White family. I wonder if the Daisy White is a daughter or relative of this family. Maybe - since there were children born to a Lloyd Childress and Daisy White later in the 1940's.
If it's the same Lloyd Childress who married in 1931, and if he then divorced, this could be him.https://familysearch.org/pal:/MM9.1.1/KSL9-TQK

Buried with him is Daisy M. Childress, who died in 1999.
Maybe Kanabec county Historical society has obituaries for them?
I'm not sure, but I think he might have died in Broward County, Florida. Maybe he was wintering down in Florida. It's called God's Waiting Room for a reason.
