Arthur Beech Cannon
TWIN FALLS - Arthur Beech Cannon,
63, of Twin Falls, died Thursday,
July 2,1987, at his home of cancer.
Born Aug. 9, 1923, in Shoshone, he
married Ola Smith June 1,1947, in Twin
Falls, He served in the Army during
World War II as a technical sergeant.
Mr. Cannon worked for the Southern
Idaho Pipe for 20 years, and was a
long-time member of the Twin Falls
Lodge No. 1183, BPOE.
Surviving are: his wife of Twin Falls;
a son, Mike Cannon of Boise; two
grandchildren; three brothers, Clifford
Cannon of Sacramento, Frank Cannon
of Orofino and Mel Cannon of Moses
Lake, Wash.; and three sisters, Ruth
Jones of Caldwell, Elza Mae Cannon of
Bellingham, Wash., and Jean Legering
of Denver. He was preceded in death by
two brothers and a sister.
The funeral will be held Tuesday at 11
a.m. in White Mortuary Chapel, with
the Rev. Gil Myers officiating. Burial
will be in Sunset Memorial Park.
