W. Blackmore was the father of my step-father. He was born around 1880 in either Weston-super-Mare or Blagdon.

Just seen your posting! I have a John Blackmore b 1781 in Wiveliscombe(or thereabouts)in Somerset. Does he mean anything to you. His daughter is my GGGgrandmother Jane b1829/30. I thought there may be a family connection.
