From the Buhl (Idaho) Herald Thursday 8 Oct 1925 p. 1:

Charles Stample, aged 61, departed this life Saturday afternoon at his farm home five miles southeast of Buhl and was buried Wednesday morning from the Catholic Church.

He was born in Germany and came to America with his parents and lived at Dickinson, North Dakota, for twenty-five years. He was married there to Rose Polenaky. During the last ten years he lived in Dakota he was a locomotive engineer on the Northern Pacific. He moved with his family to Buhl about ten years ago and purchased the ranch where he lived until death.

He is survived by his widow and three children, Mamie, William and Charlie.

Can I ask for one more favor. Hoping to get the obit for Charles and Rose Stample's daughter Hattie Stample Tvrdy, wife of Frank Tvrdy, who died Jun 10, 1917 in Clover, Idaho.
Tvrdy is my married name. There seems to be some mystery here about the real surname for Hattie and father Charles.
Thank You,
Jean
