Joseph Starratt, b. prob Granville, m. Feb 18, 1801, Sarah, dtr of Israel Harding: pg 832-833 of Eaton's History of Kings County, NS. Does anyone know where they are buried? They had 7 children; one dtr Sarah Ann, married Robert Dennison. The Dennisons both died in Kentville, but the others apparently died in Annapolis County.

There is one Joseph S b 1793 buried in Paradise. Wife Rebecca, probably not your Joseph

Thanks. Yes, in Calneck it is Joseph, s/o William on page 609. But in saying Cornwallis it may not be the Cornwallis we know today; rather likely it is someplace in 'Cornwallis Township'. For some reason now obscure to me I thought they may have lived in Annapolis Royal/Granville area.

Thank you so much! Sarah's mother and sister Eliphal (Lee, Allison)are buried in Hillgrove Baptist Cem in Digby, NS in the old Loyalist section. Her brother Harries is in Yarmouth, another sister Mary is in Johnstown, Ohio and likely her other brother Israel Jr as he died while visiting Mary. Other sister, Sabra (Dewolf), died young in Horton.
