A relative was buried in Evans Cemetery in 1942 in Wolfe County, Campton, KY. Does the cemetery still exist? And where would I look for such information because I can't find other cemeteries, namely in OH and PA.

realizing this is an old inquiry; The Evan's Cemetery is a very large Cemetery here in Wolfe co, Kentucky. It is on old hwy 15 just outside of Campton. Can't miss it. everyone knows it. It is probably the largest in the county. The libary should have names of those in it or can tell you how to get a list.

I was just at the Evans Cemetery on Saturday trying to find out if my great grandparents Walter & Siladeth Evans are buried there. The cemetery is quite large and on a hill with not the best roadways through it (almost need a 4 wheel drive). I ended up getting out of the car and walking a good portion of it & never did find any graves for my great grandparents. I would be very interested in finding a means to see if they are really buried there.
