Interesting post concerning their grandson named Cyrus.

Do you know where when Gilbert G Dart was born or do you have any source information on that?

I'm curious if you have any links to Gilbert G Dart and Mary Cook? they are on a land sale together in Fabius NY in April 1825 and Mary Cook is apparently the widow of Ichabod Cook.

In a Kilbourn Geneaology published 1856 by Payne Kenyon Kilbourn page 213

31. Capt. Jonathan Kilbourn
70. Mary, b. east HAddam Conn., Sep 10 1767; m. Dr. Silas Dart of Chatham. After his death, she m. Mr. Cook, of Middletown Conn.

Also in Early Connecticut Marriages records of the First Congregational Church of East Haddam we see a record for __________________Dart of Chatahm m. Polly Kilbourn on 4 Dec 1785.

I am very curious if Silas may have been misinterpretted from Cyrus in the Kilbourn work?

Gilbert G DART is my GG grandfather who married JERUSHA STEWART abt 1824-26?? they lived in OH and KS. A DR. DART is thought to be the father of URIAL, CHAUNCEY, and GILBERT G DART. This is info from a SUESSA LOUISE DART BOICE and the "DART FAMILY IN AMERICA" 1954. According to the census of NY, OH, and KS, GILBERT was born in NY (FABIUS ?). URIAL and CHAUNCEY lived in Chatham CT in early 1800's.

I find this info of the KILBOURN Genealogy very interesting and something that we need to definitely check out. This could be our link to the DR DART mystery. The time period and place would certainly be right and the name MARY/POLLY would be the same. Thanks so much for this info !!!
