Trying to locate the parents of Franz Josef Arvel Sanderell, b 30 Dec 1844 Tschagguns, Vorarlberg Austria, d 11 oct 1923 Loretto, Lawrence Co TN. He was married to Anna E Riemann and they had the following children: Elizabeth, Peter and Ben.. he arrived in the US in 1868. In later years his name was changed to Frank Joseph Sandrell.

I have not be about to find a US Naturalization record for him, either. Any help appreciated.

there was no name-changing - it was always Sandrell.

confusing - i found just a Franz Josef Sandrell at page 1866_0221 died on 27 December 1844 at morning 4 a.m. at age 9 month about "Fraisen" = Epilepsie, Krampfanfälle = Epilepsy, Seizures.
