The only connection I between the Passmores of Macon county NC and the Cherokee nations is that Sarah Emmeline Passmore (daughter of William T. and Francis Lee) married a Cherokee man named Samuel Lambert. They moved to the reservation and raised their family there. All of her children were enrolled members of the tribe, although she was not.

Hi, the other Passmore in the Lambert Family comes from the daughter of Catherine Lambert and James Lee, their daughter Nancy Jane Lee married James Passmore, June 14, 1901 in Macon Co. NC. Nancy and James had 10 children: Thomas, Charles, Rose, Oscar, David, Mary, Sarah, Palace, Alice and Belva Passmore, Does this help.

Hi,
Do you have any information on William Frazer Passmore's father Thomas Passmore? We do not know who he married or where he lived.

We only have info that Thomas was born in 1720 and that his son WIlliam Frazer Passmore was born in 1760 and died in Cashiers NC in 1834. WF had four children.

Thanks so much!
Kathy

Dear Sharon,
I am a descendent of John Pasmore b. 1802. Do you have any info on William Frazer Passmore his grandfather b. 1760 and Thomas Passmore his great-grandfather b. 1720?

I really appreciate your help!
