Annetta Garten, 87
Mrs. Ira (Annetta) Garten, 87, of Holland, died Wednesday, Feb. 9, 2000, at a local care facility.
She was a member of Maple Avenue Christian Reformed Church. She was head nurse at Holland Hospital for 22 years. She was stationed in England during World War II.
She was preceded in death by her husband Ira in 1979.
She is survived by her children, Ron Garten and Pat Garten, both of Holland; two grandchildren; and sister, Mrs. Jake (Harriet) Steigenga of Holland.
Services are 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Notier-VerLee-Langeland Funeral Chapel, 315 E. 16th Street, with the Rev. Peter DeHaan officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial in Pilgrim Home Cemetery. Memorials may be given to Holland Christian Schools or the American Diabetes Association.
