My name is peter{hanrahan}larkin, iam the grandson of matthew and christine{whelan}hanrahan.matthew was born in limerick in 1902,he was 1 of 12 children.there names are margret,agnes{died at a young age}mary,james,agnes{name after the first child}hanora,michael,james patrick,christopher,christy,and kathleen.All the children were born limerick ireland. this is some of the information i have,but i do have alot more information going all the way back to 1780 {it would be my g-g-g-grandparents james and margret mcgrath hanrahan}.i know there are alot of hanrahan out there, if there is a connection .ill be willing to share any information i have. ----------hope i can help--------------

I am trying to track down information on the Hanrahan family as I to have Hanrahans in my history. My g-g-grandmother was Anne Hanrahan who married Denis Collins and lived in Detroit, MI their daughter was named Mary. I believe that Annes' mothers name was Hanora. Any help or leads you could give will be greatly appreciated.

I am searching for information on Michael Hanrahan, born 1863 Limerick. Michael's parents were Maurice Hanrahan and Hanora McMahon, and I think he had a brother Timothy. They may have been in the area of Fedamore civil parish, Ballyea. Michael came to Australia, but I know he had family go to USA. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

My Great grandmother was Mary(Molly ) Hanrahan. She came over from ireland inthe 1880ish's through Ellis island. She married William Hussey. Is this a piece of the puzzle? Let me know and Thanks in advance.

Hello Jennifer,the only record i have of a Molly Hanrahan is,That she was born in Limerick {No Date}.Her parents name are Michael and Anne{Mulready}Hanrahan,Both born and died in Limerick Ireland. Michael the father was born in the year of 1841. If this is a lead let me know and ill give you more info o.k.

Was this Michael Hanrahan the son of Daniel Hanrahan and Johanna Bailey Hanrahan of Limerick? They had a son named Michael, I have no other info other than some of his siblings: Daniel, William, John b.1856; Bridget b. 1842 and Ellen b.1854 + 7 others. All born Limerick. Ellen was my g/grandmother.

Sorry wrong Michael. Michael parents name were James and Margaret{McGarth} Hanrahan.James was born 1780 and marry Margret around 1801 or 1802. They raise five childrens,their names are Mary{b.1803},Michael{b.1806},Catherine{b.1809},Timothy{b.1812},and Matthew{my g-g-grandfather b.1825} sorry i cant be of help. Maybe will connect in a different route.

I have a James Hanrahan bn Limerick 1827. came to New York in 1848. His son John Hanrahan bn 1864,married a Mary Elizabeth Bailey bn 1863 of Ireland. Her gr father was Ricahrd Bailey bn about 1810 Kings County Ireland. Are these any connections?

Ellen Hanrahan had a brother named John but he was born 1856, not 1863. Not sure if any connections on Bailey side -- I just have name Johanna Bailey and no date or place of birth and death.
