Looking for any information on Pvt Thomas C White, Winnipeg Grenadiers, RCIC. Born in 1904 & died 22 Dec 1941. Buried in San Wan Memorial, Hong Kong. Would like to know the name of his wife & any children. Mrs White left Hong Kong abt 1960 & immigrated to Canada to be with her son (name unknown). As Thomas was in the Winnipeg Grenadiers, I am assuming he was from Winnepeg.

This is a wonderful free site for many of the old Manitoba newspapers. Very interesting and sad for you to read all about the events surrounding the Winnipeg Grenadiers and Hong Kong.
