Dottie Maye Wilson Hill
Our Dottie went home to be with her Lord on February 26, 2004. Dottie was born Dorothy Maye Wilson on November 30, 1948 in Midland, Texas to Woodrow Wilson and Geraldine Wilson.
She was raised and educated in Midland, graduating from Midland High School in 1967. She also attended Midland College. Dottie married Marty Hill on November 18, 1995. Dottie was a devoted wife to Marty, he was her care giver and soul mate.
Dottie retired as an Administrative Secretary with the Midland County Juvenile Probation Office in 2002 after 25 years of dedicated service. She was a member of Victory Family Christian Center.
Dottie was a jubilant individual who faced her illness with a sincere faith and determination. Her Christianity and walk with Christ brought her through many days during her illness. Her smile brightened everyone she came in contact with.
Dottie is survived by her husband, Marty Hill of the home; her mother, Geraldine Wilson, also of Midland; her sisters, Delila and her husband Marvin Martin, CeCe and her husband James Stewart of Midland, Connie and her husband Ricky Wade of Kilgore, Texas.
She is also survived by her Goddaughter and niece, Theresa Wade, other nieces, Angie Brown, Kathy Bateman and Kristen Sanchez, her nephews, Clovis Martin and Jimmy Stewart.
She is preceded in death by her father, Woodrow Wilson and one brother, Kenneth Wilson.
Dottie will be missed by her family and friends, but we know she is resting in peace and is waiting for those who loved her.
Visitation will be held Sunday, February 29, 2004, 6-8 p.m., at Ellis Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at Ellis Funeral Home Chapel on Monday, March 1, 2004 at 11:00 A.M. Interment will be at Resthaven Memorial Park officiated by Rev. Bob Miller.
Pallbearers will be Ruben Sifuentes, Clovis Martin, Chase Chastain, Shane, Jody and Trey Hill.
