Sheri, I too have been seeking the parents of George Appleman who moved to Morgan Co from Fishing Creek in 1815. Some say his father was Peter or Phillip of Columbia Co but I have copies of their wills and George is not mentioned. I think his father may have been named Jacob as he and Margaret's first son was named Jacob. Christoph or Christopher had a Jacob but he moved to Washington Co PA after marrying Jane Harris - then they went to Richland Co. OH.
My husband is descended from Jesse Appleman's daughter Margaret Appleman who married Henry Bausman. Their daughter MaryEtta m.Frederick Wm. Kromrey.

I am also a decendent of Jesse Appleman. My grandfather's mother was Mary Appleman, married John Parr. My grandfather was Arthuur Parr, married Mary Wolfe. My father was Cleadis O. Parr, I am Patricia Ann Parr. We are probably cousins! Hope to hear from you. I am kinda new at this, but very interested. Pat

I found an Iranian handknotted saddlebag with "G B Appleman, 1943" woven into it.
Does anybody know of any such Appleman who may have been in Iran or that region during WW2?
