I have a James Blair, born in 1836, and died in 1894, perhaps in Ogdensburg, New York, but I'm not sure of that.

I have a James Blair who was married to Margaret Elizabeth Smith. They had a son (amongst other children, I'm sure) Israel Blair (b. 10 Mar 1895) who married Lommie Era Bell. I have more decendants as well if this is all correct. If it is, it would make James W. Blair my 2nd great-grandfather. Any ideas?

James W. Blair would also be my Great Great Grandfather. He and his wife, Margaret Elizabeth Smith, had a daughter named Bertha, born 1883. She was married to John Kirby Hobgood. I have been trying to find information on this side of the family for a long time anything that you could contribute would be of help. Thanks.

Thanks for the info. I'll have to add that to my tree and research it some more. When/if I come up with something new, I'll leave it here! Thanks for the help!
