HELP: Feist Family Migration From Germany to Russia

Around 1809, the following two FAIST/FEIST families migrated from Germany to Russia:

BERNHARD FAIST & ANNA MARIA WALZ traveled from Kuppenheim, Germany, to Strassburg, Russia, around 1809, along with their children (Mathaus – age 19, Johann – age 17, Fidelis – age 14, Elizabeth – age 10, twins Joseph & Gregory – age 8, Joseph? – age 7, Maria – age 6, Maria? - age 5, & Johannes – age 4)
Bernhard's father was JAKOB FAIST.
I found records that show Bernhard's brothers and sisters all died as children.

NICOLAUS FEIST & MARGARETHA SCHALL traveled from Ebersbach, Germany, to Strassburg, Russia, around 1809, along with their children (Johannes – age 5 & Alois – age 3)
Nicolaus' father was JOHANNES FAIST.
I cant find any record that Nicolaus had any brothers or sisters.

Does anyone out there have any genealogy records pertaining to the FAIST/FEIST family that include the above two families, which show some connection? I doubt that it's just coincidence that the above two family lines migrated to Russia during the same time period, and then also migrated to North Dakota during the same time period.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. You can e-mail me directly at: FEIST_JUNG@YAHOO.CO.KR

Hi, My grandmother was Mary Helen Feist. The census records state she was born in South Dakota and her parents are Stephen Feist and Maria Ann Klein who were both born in Odessa Russia. Is any of this related to your family. My Grandmother was born in 1896 in SD and my great g-parents both received citizenship in 1888. but I don't know where?
If this matches anything please let me know?
My grandmother married Daniel P. Fix from North Dakota, he was also born in Odessa Russia, they married sometime between 1916 and 1918... They had 5 living children... Helen Barbara (my mom), Daniel P Jr., Mildred P., Loryanne A., and Veronica L.
I've been hitting brick walls... I was told Daniel P Sr. died abt. 1930. Mary Helen moved to Oregon and died in 1975, any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Barb

I am sure the names you give are that of what I have come across in the Faist/Feisst history undertaken by my side of the family. My grandfather was Otto Feisst and his grandparents escaped Germany to America and eventually a line of them came to NZ. I do have possession of all the notes and can search them if you wish to know more. There is quite an extended family here in NZ and I understand still in America as well.

Yes there is a connection between them. Though I believe your info regarding them being from Kuppenheim is incorrect. They did migrate to Russia by way of Kuppenheim but do not have any connections to the Faist's from Kuppenheim other than both families did go to Russia at roughly same time.
