Mrs. Parker, 80, Dies At Ilsley
Mrs. Almeda Parker, 80, died in her home at Ilsley at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday as a result of a stroke suffered two weeks ago.
Mrs. Parker was born in Hopkins county Feb. 13, 1874, the daughter of the late W.P. Jackson and Ann Russell Jackson.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday at the Ilsley Holiness church with the Rev. Eddy Russell officiating. Burial will be in Ilsley cemetery.
Surviving are two sons, Obid Parker, St. Charles, and Harvey Parker, Ilsley; two daughters, Mrs. Nevelene Cottrell, Drakesboro, and Mrs. Mantlas Barnes, Ilsley; nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
The body was taken to the Parker home this afternoon from Beshear Funeral Home, Dawson Springs.
