Surnames: Andrasko, Blondin, Borces, Major
I am looking for any information to help me find ancestry of my family. My grandfather's name was Norman Blondin. His father was Alcid Blondin, he was married to Bertha Major. I have limited info. on these two family members. Norman was married to Mary Andrasko. Her mother was Julia Borces from Vienna. These family members,I believe, may have lived in Quebec or New England where I know Norman Blondin lived.
Thank you!

Can you give us some dates and where in New England Norman lived? I have a Blondin problem and have done a lot of research on the name in northern VT.

I had a cousin, Norman Blondin born in Waterbury, Conn.7/7/1918 died May, 1981.
Son of Alcid and Bertha (Major) Blondin

Is this the Norman Blondin that you are looking for?

Do you ave any info on George Blondin (married to Goldie) resided in Morrisville, Vt. Estimate birth date in mid 1800's.

Norman Blondin(1918/1981)was born and brought up in Waterbury, Conn. His father, Alcid Blondin (1898/1968)had two younger brothers: Arthur and William. Their father was Edward Blondin who was born in Trois Riviers, Quebec in 1854.

As far as I know, Norman Blondin, Jr. never had any children so you must be Peter's daughter.

Let me know if you want more info

Thanks for the reply. That's great info!
How did you come by this information on the family. Are you a relative or did you stumble upon it doing your own research.
Also, I am Pete Blondin's Daughter.

My father just told me that Alcid had an older brother named Peter and possibly a sister named Minnie. I wasn't sure if you were aware of this. I wasn't! Are you from Middlebury, Ct.?

Peter Blondin was not Alcid's brother. He was Alcid's first cousin. Minnie Blondin was Peter's sister and also Alcid's first cousin.

Yes, I was brought up in Middlebury, Conn. and I remember your dad from way back then.
Give him my best regards.

Howard and Norman are my first cousins 2x removed. Bertha Major is my Great Grand Aunt, her sister Helen (sometimes referred to as Ellen) is my Great Grandmother.

I believe I have some photographs of some of the Blondin's, I believe they're photos of Alcide, definitely one of Howard as a baby and maybe a grandson.

Would love to connect with any of you, I live in CT as well and recently made connection with Harry Major Sr's grand daughter. Harry Sr is Bertha's brother.

Hello. I'm a relative of yours. I haven't read all posts, and just briefly read yours, but saw the names listed, so I wanted to make contact. Mary Blondin was my grandmother, Norman Senior, my grandfather. My father is Pierre (Pete) Blondin.
