His son Joseph Monroe Fateley b. 1844 in Shelby Co. Ind. is my G-Grandfather. These Fateleys moved 1st to Kansas, and then to Stone Co Mo. where they lived and died. I have most of the info on them & wish to communicate with any other Fateley Family. Fred Crabb

Fred,
Nice to meet you.
I will be going to Hartville MO, a short distance east of Springfield. My dad Harold D. Fateley sr. lived there until his death in 1974. There is still a farm there this pocket of Fateley's go to for Holidays.
Dad was fron Shelbyville, Indiana as was a bunch of his kin. I never knew any of them as my mother and dad split up early in my life.
Last time and first time I remember I was in Indianapolis I saw a autobody shop that belonged to Fateleys on Speedway Road. The owner, Fateley, had died and the new owner kept the Fateley name because of the good reputation. I contacted the wife of this male Fateley, she told me she did not know much either except that her husband had Fateley relatives in Kansas.
Did I see Hollis somewhere in these messages? I am sure I can touch him from my end.
I sent a email to the Crabbs@msn address so you should have mine if you want to know what I know. I am egar to know what you know. I do not mind continuing to post information here either. I am currently 58 and be 59 this coming Feb 5th.
