Hello Hope?
I am researching Frierys from Ireland/Liverpool.
My gr/f's mother was Mary Jane. She was born in Liverpool and then at some point came back to Ireland. I believe her father to be Miles Friery, born 1835 in Ireland, died 1862 liverpool. That means she can't have been born later than 1863, but i can't find her birth record anywhere. Miles married a Jane Burns in 1855 in liverpool. She too was from ireland, born abt. 1838.
Mary Jane's brother Christopher became a solicitor in Dublin. He was married to Kay and they had no children.
If you have any info that might help, I would be very happy to hear from you.
Thanks, Claire

HI,
I hope you are still visiting the site most of the posts are quite old. My grandfather was George Friery married to Mary Ann Long, they are listed in the Irish 1911 cencus as living in Dublin City Ireland, aged 28 so would have been born in 1883 approximately, I have no idea where he came from or where he went after 1918, when the family left Dublin and went to Co. Wicklow Ireland there is no records of him being born or buried in Ireland Help!!
