Divorce records?

Divorce records?

Hi,
It's quite a while since I was on Ancestry UK and I am now surprised to see mention of 'Divorce' in one of the drop down list of search results. Is it possible to find out if someone has got divorced now? Can't find any further information on this. The classification for this message doesn't have an option for divorce so did this as marriage so I could post the thread.
Many thanks for any advice.
Jane

Some divorce records are available. One collection you can search is the UK Civil Divorce Records, 1858-1911. If you browse the card catalogue you can see it in there.

From what I can see, they only show this if the divorce is 100 yrs old. Other than that, it's kept private.
