To all Crowder researchers: the Crowders in America began at the James River Colony in Virginia. The descending generations of these first Crowders and their migrations through the next 300 years is on my 110 page CD with connecting families from dated recorded documents. You may contact me by e-mail about the Book and CD. Thanks, Patricia

I am looking for information on Joseph Brownell, born Nov 10
1794, Canada, Son of Johanna (Hannah) Crowder born Dec 13 1772 New York and Joseph Thomas Brownell born Mar 12 1768 USA and died 1822 Ontario Canada.
My ancestor Joseph Brownell was born 1794 possibly English Canada and died June 13 1847 Wheeler Stueben Co New York.
Any information you have which would help determine if these two people are one and the same would be greatly appreciated.
John Brownell
