Honeycutts of Marion County

I'm seeking information about my Honeycutt family's history. My g-g-grandparents Hiram and Josephine Honeycutt came to Arkansas from either Benton County or Taney County, Missouri. Her parents were Eli and Sarah Woods Henderson married in Taney County, MO but, have found no further details about them. One of their children, Louis Frederick Honeycutt, married Gladys Lancaster in Izard County, AR. Both are deceased. They had 5 daughters; Louise (my mother), Ruby, Vada Lee, Anna, Maxine, and one son Jim who all currently reside in Izard and Baxter counties. I have many photos and am piecing things together. Any help would be appreciated.

I don't know if we have corrsponded, but my G-GF sister was Lucinda payne and she was the 2nd wife of John Wes Henderson. They are found on the 1880 census of Marion County, Franklin Township. I know hardly anything of Lucinda and I have emailed some of her descendents, which you may already know. My G-GF was John Thomas Payne who married Mary Herron, daughter of Simon Herron & Susan Taber/Tabor. Also beside Lucinda and John, there was Jame Albert Payne who married Sarah Clark, which by the way, Their oldest son would end up marrying into the Honeycutt Family and Rebecca Payne married Elijah Jefferson Friend. All these families in the same township.

I also found Christopher Henderson on the 1860 or 1870 Taney census I believe. There were four daughters living with him. I will recheck. I believe his age was 69.

I don't understand how John Honeycutt be married to Almeda Fryman and later his son Phillip marries a much younger Almeda Fryman. Coincedence? My grandmother was Nora Honeycutt, wife of Dave Webster who later married Almeda and had 2 children. My uncle David is still living. RW
