I have some questions about Peter Wright b.1789 NC. & Rachel Wood b.1782 PA.
They had a daughter named Nancy Wright,can you tell me when she was born & if she married and to whom.
I would like to be able to find information on her and find out what happened to her.

What part of NC was your Peter Wright born? Also, do you have a Daniel Wright who married a Lydia Gorden in November 1851 in Surry County, NC? Thanks.

Peter Wright was born in Rowen County,North Carolina.
And as for Daniel Wright who married a Lydia Gorden in November 1851 in Surry County, NC,
I don't know yet.
This is a family that I just started researching,trying to match it up with my Nancy Wright.

I am a researcher of the Wright family of Maryland and later NC.

It appears that this Peter Wright, b. 1789 was son of Amos Wright and Elizabeth Lowe. Peter and Rachel's other children were:

Anna Patsy Wright 1787 – 1833
ELDER Levi Wright 1792 – 1860
ELDER Joshua Wright 1795 – 1863
Richard Wright 1798 – 1833
Rebecca Wright 1801 – 1892
ELDER Amos Wright, Jr. 1805 – 1880

A house full of preachers, to say the least.... but, I have information on most of this family. Glad to help any way I can.

Do you have a record of Annie Wright, b.12 April 1867, probably in Randolph Co., NC. She married Jacob Esrom Auman,
probably in Randolph Co., NC, 1 March 1887.

the daughter of Charles N. Wright, in Montgomery County, NC. Site shows her husband as you indicated.

I traced her back as far as the site allowed, but found no connection to my Wright family.
