Hi Your father William E. TOWE married Anita ? 1960/1970
Where ?
If your father has the Marriage Certificate or the Birth Certificate for the child Lindsay TOWE - it would give you a start.
Was there a Divorce ? Death ?
Since your father is still living - he could / you could on his behalf - obtain the Marriage Registration - this has full information as required at the time - rather than the Certificate which only holds basic information taken from the Registration. Will show the Surname for Anita - as well her birthplace - names of her parents including maiden name of the mother.

Searching City Directory Henderson/ Wigleys - may show where the family were living at any particular time.

My father doesn't remember any of the details of his first wife, marriage, or the daughter. He is almost 80 and doesn't remember a lot of details any more.

I would assume they married in Vancouver as that is where he always lived.

He doesn't have the marriage certificate or the birth certificate. I have seen his divorce paperwork but it only lists her with his last name and the date they divorced.

I was going to order the marriage certificate but it asks for the date of the marriage but he can't remember when that was. Can you still get it without the date? How would I go about getting the Marriage Registration?

Classmates.com has a Lindy Laroche (Towe) graduating in 1984 in Vancouver.

I would search Canada411 for Laroche in Vancouver and see if you can find a connection.
