Just started doing my ancestory and traced my family to Moylough, Galaway. Does anybody have information or no where I can get information on them.

Here are some starters.

The Tithe applotments 1820-1839 www.genealogy.nationalarchives.ie

Griffith Valuation from 1846-1864 depending on the county.

Galway is divided into two sides for genealogy purposes
East and West, both belong to an Irish History Foundation
with baptism and marriage records. After 1864 they have both parish and civil registrations

www.familysearch.org has civil registrations from 1864 births, marriages and deaths

If you scroll down on the first page and on the left is UK/Ireland and click on it, you go to the next page and follow down to Ireland. There are some RC parish records, the IGI(International genealogy Index) etc.
