Looking for information on the family and spouse of Grace Elizabeth Chubaty 1928-1984. She was born in Edmonton Ab and died in Squamish according to the death record I found. Her father was William Chubaty and her mother was Mary Shewchuk. Her husbands name was Ivor Lloyd Hurst. Looking for any information on any siblings, her husband, their children if any. Thank you.

I know this message is over a year old, but I believe I found the obituary of Grace's father, William Chubaty. Hope this is of some help!

CHUBATY, William, 86, 4672 Birch Bay-Lynden Road, Blaine, died Monday (Sept. 21, 1987) in Bellingham. Mr. Chubaty was born Dec. 20, 1900, in Poland and moved to Canada with his parents when he was 7 years old. He married his wife, Mary, on Feb. 19, 1925, in Grienrod, B.C. They moved to the United States in 1951, settling in Blaine in 1970. He worked as a barber during the Depression, as a railroad cook for many years and also took on a variety of odd-jobs. He became an avid gardener after his retirement. Survivors include his wife of the family home; a son, Dan Chubaty of Richmond, B.C.; a brother, Peter Chubaty of British Columbia; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday in Jerns McKinney Funeral Chapel. Memorials may be made to the Assembly of God Church, 1112 Harrison St., Blaine WA 98230.
