Can someone look up a death in Milwaukee of my 4th great grandmother and transcribe the record? Her name was Margaetta (or Margaret) Christiansen. She died 23 April 1910.

Her son, George Christiansen, also died in Milwaukee, possibly August 02, 1926, and I would like the transcription for that as well.

Would be willing to pay a small fee for transcriptions. I live in Green Bay and it's just too far of a drive and to pay $20 for one record is too expensive! Would also do a trade. I can look up Pre-1907 records available at the UWGB Area Research Center (see collection here: http://www.uwgb.edu/library/spc/local/) or any vitals in Brown County.

I found a cemetery listing for George that seems to fit the dates, & he is buried next to a Margaret. But her dates don't match for the mother but more likely a wife or sister.
I'm leaning toward wife as she is listed as widow, so a sister would probably have a married name.
Anyway, I will give you the source & you can play with it to see if anything matches.

just click on genealogy tab and enter a surname. It will give all listings for that name. You can enter a partial surname and it gives all various spellings after last letter
like enter John & you also get Johnson, Johnston etc.

You can click on "find nearby graves" then uncheck the last box (usually the grave number) and it lists any nearby graves. Very nice site if your rellies were Catholic.

Yes, this is the 1905 census for her. She lived in the Manitowoc area for about 35 years but moved to Milwaukee around 1907 to live near her son George.

I found George Christiansen's death notice in the Milwaukee Journal of August 3, 1926. He was married to a Margaret.

There was an obit. published in the German papers for Margaretha Christiansen (but not death notices), and then Milwaukee Co. probate notices published in June 1924. (I'm not a relative).
