Forensic comparison of photographs (same person in two pics?)

Forensic comparison of photographs (same person in two pics?)

Hi,

I have a number of photographs that were once owned by my great great grandparents. I believe one of the photographs is possibly a picture of my great great grandfather as a young man, however, I can't be sure since it is not labeled. I do have a known photograph of him as a man of about 60, however, he has a beard and moustache as an older man, and the other picture shows a clean shaven man. I'm hoping to find someone who can use computer software or other techniques to compare the photos, measuring facial features, etc, to see if they "match." Has anyone ever done this before and know of someone who might be able to do this sort of study?

Thanks in advance!

Try Maureen Taylor http://www.maureentaylor.com/. "The Photo Detective." I have consulted her for a similar, but different question. She at least might lead you to another source.
